Biking and Wolf Blitz2 Reccomendations and.... NERF WAR!!

Posted by WolfBlitz2 Oct. 10, 2008 @ 11:32 PM EDT

okI thought I should update this stuff
for the people of dear NG
first off
went for a ride the other day after it had rained, I was riding on wet paved surface and I turned the corner I then landed on my side and slid into a light pole and my bike went nearly went into oncoming traffic luckily there was a red light and the cars were slowing down, two blokes came out of a store and asked if I was ok, helped me up and picked up my bike, in response I said "yeah....well that was fun!"
my chain was stuff and my elbow was cut
so I rode down to the chemist, I know of a person that works there and asked if they could spare a bandaid
this was good practice for them they say, they were out of band aids haha
so I got patched up and continued on my ride
this is not the first time in riding and crashing my bike
I was going around this parked vehicle on the side of the road, my front wheel hit part of the gutter and I fell infront of a moving vehicle, they had to swerve around me
another time I was riding on this dirt track not far from my place that I usually ride, went down this hill my front wheel hit some sand landed my side into gravel surface after that I had injured my back and my face and heaps of dirt in my hair and stuff
another time I was riding on a sandy area of the track and lost grip and did my arm I stuffed one of my gear changers and my arm below my elbow, it was pretty deep
my was a nurse she said if it was any deeper I would have needed a skin graft
I was going over jumps on the track by myself and I hit my head on the handlebars and I knocked myself unconsicious for about ten minutes, (not completely sure) luckily I was wearing my helmet
I learnt that I shouldn't be going over jumps unless I am with a friend or group
that is enough about the biking, on with the reccomendations

first of the list The Coral, they are a band from Britain, they got a good sound
most notable songs are "jaqueline," "skeleton key,' "pass it on," "goodbye," "in the rain" and "don't think you're the first"
this is their song "Dreaming of you"

.

Bomfunk MC's are an awesome band from finland probably most famous for "Freestyler" as they seemed futuristic at the time and prduct placements of sony products, they also had "B boys, Fly girls"
they have become quiet as of recent and it is unkown if they have disbanded or not
here is one of their songs "super electric"

.

here is also "Freestyler"

.

LEN were a siblings group from Canada during the late 90's and are most notable for there one hit wonder "steal my sunshine", they still making music
I like their music clip as how you can have a fun time without being a try hard and no swearing either which is a rarity....good days of the 90's
unfortunately I can't seem to embed this one as most of the music clips diasbled it
so here is the link

next up is the Eels
now this bunch is interesting
the leads vocals father was a physicist and the "originator of the many-worlds theory of quantum physics" his father had died and was cremated his father said if he were to die he wanted to be thrown out with the trash, what a way to go.
anyway with the band, most of their songs are written by the lead singer, I guess it was his way of dealing with the hard times that he had
thye have made some awesome songs such as "sound of fear," "beautiful freak," "flyswatter," "beatiful day," "flower in a hailstrom" and "need some sleep"
I couldn't find a music clip for sound of fear so this one will have to do
this their song "Saturday morning"

.

now we have the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
these are the only longest lasting bands that I know of
they span from the 1980's to now and still going strong
my first real album I ever had was "by the way"
the most notable from that album is "can't stop," "zephyr song," "cabron," "lemon trees on mecury" and "minor thing"
this is their song "Scar Tissue"

.

here is Crazy Town
this is a short lived band from my viewpoint
one of them was in rehab with drugs or something and other died from a heart attack
but they have reunited as of recent
this mob is quite a crazy arse band from my viewpoint this would be least chosen people as being a good band to suitable for most, they are quite rough nuts
the only two good songs I know of from crazy town are "Butterfly" and "Black cloud"
this their song "butterfly"

.

Oasis
the mob is from the land of the Poms aswell (I hope liljim isn't reading this)
now this band has been going good, but it then hit a slump and slowly regaining it territory again
they have made some awesome songs, "whatever," "champagne supernova," "don't look back in anger," "stop crying your heart out" and "how does it feel"
here is their song "wonderwall"

.

(I gotta get me a set of those sunnies!)

Default
now this band is from a country next to alaska, I have forgotten what it is called though, Canada I think :P
some quite notable songs from them are "throw it all away," "taking my life away," "count on me" and "wasting my time"
this is there song "Deny"

.

up next we have rage against the machine
now this band is pretty awesome, have more of a political view on things one of there great is "Guerilla Radio." Some others are "fuck the police," "sleep now in the fire" "bulls on parade," "know your enemy" and "killing in the name."
this is their song "testify"

.

next up we have the cartoon band called Gorillaz
now this is an interesting one in a way in the cartoon they are a band of four hwile in real life there is only two main people, there is about 40+ people that help make the music but there is mostly just the two
some of there songs include "5/4," "Rehash," "Rock the house," "Feel Good Inc," "dirty Harry," "all alone" and "kids with guns"
this is their song "19/2000"

.

here is also "dirty harry"

.

here is A-ha
they are a norweigein band most popular in the 80's they are still going stong
thsi is there song "take on me"

.

Iron Maiden
this is heavy metal that made their debut in the mid 70's
there notable songs are "Running Free", "Transylvania", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Sanctuary"

here is their song "the trooper"

.

lastly Daft Punk
this group of frenchies are the home of house music pretty much
they have some awesome songs, most of them are just beat with no lyrics
but when they do sing it is awesome and not mean when they are repeating the same thing over and over or just talking
it took them awhile to find a name for themselves they tried heaps of name but none of them seem right until one time a critic reviewed them saying they were "a bunch of daft punks" and that is how they got their name
it is rare to find a picture of the two together without there masks or something covering their faces
one of their better albums would be "discovery"
most notable from that album "something about us,"crescendolls," verdis quo" and "short circuit"
this is their song "Digital Love"

.

but then again maybe the reason that album is so popular was because it was then turned into a Japanese movie callled "Interstella5555: 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem"
ok lets talk about the other two albums then
their first album "homework"
"around the world" is one of their most notable song from that album
that is a good song, has great beats
but I like this one in particular, it is called "Fresh"

.

(on the album there is no speach in this song, just the music clip does)
then they had another (and most recent) album "human after all"
there was alot of different thoughts on this album in particular
but like most music and art, you be the judge
this is their song "robot rock"

.

here is some more music from britain
called Mika
quite good music
this is there called lollipop

.

I shall update it this more later on
man this is the last time that WritersBlock suggests to me to have a go at this thing

lastly if you are to have a war do it this way

.

so I shall leave you with this

Oct. 19, 2008 | 7:15 AM Cyberdevil says:

Woohoo, great music videos, I've heard them all, so I suppose it didn't really matter that my speakers seem to be malfunctioning so I don't hear shit and the video keeps on pausing even though it's fully buffered. Regardless I wonder why though, might have to do something about that . . . .

Anyhow, regarding your common biking mishaps, I suppose you ride a lot? I remember when I rode into a clothline about five years back and it caught me right on my throat so I fell off backwards, nearly decapitated me (slightly exagerated, but it did leave a stinging red line for a few days). After that I haven't crashed at all, amazingly, the roads are pretty wide and empty around here though, no holes or sharp edges or slipperly slivers of snow.

Oct. 19, 2008 | 6:47 PM WolfBlitz2 responds:

haha
thanks man
yeah the old clothes line is a bit dangerous
at least you aren't a clutz like me :D

Oct. 21, 2008 | 11:39 PM Aeonstars says:

Oct. 22, 2008 | 1:22 AM WolfBlitz2 responds:

ok when you make a new post there is these bar for links and to make works in bold and italics
copy the info embedding code thingy for the vid and click on the one tab on your new post that say embed video
so you

when you get the embed video tab you should get this

.
